Do you offer the “pain pump”?

Yes! We feel this pain pump works fabulously for patients! This significantly reduces the amount of narcotics you will need to take after the operation which leaves your mind quite clear as taking narcotic medications can give you a foggy feeling when you're awake. The device placed continuously delivers pain medication directly to the area under the muscle where most of the pain comes from. Very tiny tubes called catheters, placed at the end of the surgery are worn for 2 to 3 days to deliver the medication which is a numbing medicine commonly used in dentistry and surgery. It is completely portable with the pump carried in a fanny pack. The pump is not to get wet. We can show you want to you when you come for your consultation. The tubes are so small they cannot be felt when coming out in our office. Our ladies that have used this device have all been very happy with it.
