When can I drive?

You really should not drive until you've been entirely off your narcotics for 24 hours. You will feel as though you can physically drive just fine but the concern is for your safety. Certainly you will be able to physically get into your car, steer the car, start the car, and move the car. But if you get into an emergeny situation on the road, you may find that because of the discomfort in your chest he may not be able to quickly avert an accident. We will help you decide when you can drive, but usually it's a good week before you will feel safe driving any further than just in your neighborhood.
