Will a second breast operation hurt like the first time?
No! The second operation if you need one is usually not painful at all. Women usually
return to work in 2 to 3 days and use very little pain medicine if any at all. Second
operation to either go bigger or to remove capsule or to replace deflated implants are
usually very easily tolerated by ladies. We call these "nuisance operations" because you
do have to go to sleep with anesthesia for the operation but you will wake up will very
little discomfort. We give all these ladies pain medicine but it is rare that they
actually use any other than Naprosyn or Motrin. The first under the muscle breast
augmentation does hurt however!!!
